BIOGRAPHY

Born on the 31st August, 1981 and hails from Qormi, Malta. Mum, artist and teacher in the Secondary Sector. Art is her passion and colour, her obsession!
She always loved art, from a very young age, however her formal art tuition started in 2007 at the Malta Society of Arts in Valletta, after which she started attending the Malta School of Arts. She completed the Foundation programme, and then proceeded with the course of Diploma in Fine Arts (2010 – 2014) under the tuition of Mr Tony Sciberras. In June 2015 she was awarded with a Diploma in Fine Arts in Painting.
She regularly attends various workshops both locally and online. Some important workshops were ‘Capturing the Essence. Abstraction and Notan’ in July 2023, with British Artist Prasad Beaven ‘Chasing light in floral pastels’ with Australian artist Stephie Clark, ‘Allaprima in floral still life’ with the British artist Alex Kelly and recently in July 2024 & August 2025, a workshop on still life and portraits from life with the renowned Russian artist Regina Lyubovnaya organised at the Malta School of Art. She loves working from direct observation, in fact she does plein air painting sessions from time to time. She took part in several collective exhibitions, with the recent one being ‘Collectively Solo IV’ at Gallery 23 in April 2025.
She is fascinated by colours and the harmony they bring into a composition. Feelings and emotions are also a major source of inspiration behind her abstract works. REALMS OF COLOUR is her first solo exhibition, in which she brings out her passion and insatiable drive to express herself with colour.
